Architect Marites Abueg from Studio KDA designed these pendants using 3-gallon, beer brewing “carboys”. Worked with a local leather artisan to create a seemingly simple leather housing to hold the large glass pieces, which attached to custom iron brackets. Edison style LED bulbs shine through the textured glass. The riveted leather loops are supported on vertical and horizontal steel brackets, melding the industrial with the refined. Fabricated by Metro Lighting, Berkeley.
