Lanterns

Curious Customs is a couple (Dave and Marrilee) who are fiercely dedicated lighting and lantern designers. They got their start building art installations for music festivals and use only Forest Stewardship Council certified woods, boxes made out of recycled content and 100% post-consumer recycled content for their bags, paper and packaging.

These lanterns were made for the Electric Forest Festival 2017, which takes place every June at the Double JJ Ranch In Rothbury, Michigan.

Meet the Creator

"Everyone should be able to patronize and enjoy consciously made goods and we take pride in making beautiful, affordable artisan lighting. Our designs incorporate themes from around the world and our materials are sustainably sourced. We pay a living wage and our off-cuts are donated to find new life as craft or bio-char. Profits from every lantern are reinvested in microloans directly to entrepreneurs in the third world."
