Artist Alexis Laurent made these airy light fixtures from recycled materials. Actually, they come from another one of his artworks that went awry: a sculpture of floating balls containing air plants. But, when he realized how finicky air plants can be and how hard it is to care for them while they're twisted together inside balls suspended mid-air, well, he decided this was a much better use.
