The classically inspired Gabrielle Baluster Porcelain Table Lamp is Design by Lawrence & Scott.
Putting the refinement of hand-thrown porcelain together with elemental raw wood, the new Gabrielle Baluster Porcelain Lamp by Lawrence & Scott is a harmonious meeting of the East and the West. The classically inspired vessels are hand thrown in Taiwan by the legendary potter Master Hsu Chao-Tsung, a Presidential Award winner in Taiwan whose work is exhibited in the New Taipei City Ceramics Museum. The Gabrielle Baluster lamp comes with three choices of FSC-certified wood caps and bases, custom-turned by us to fit each vessel’s individual characteristics.
Carefully chosen shades of the most adaptable colors add intrigue and sophistication to both contemporary and transitional color palettes.
The white silk-linen shade with an inverted Euro mount for the most beautiful light is handmade in Seattle by our master shade maker Amy Girvin, who has spent three decades refining the art of shade making.
