Creative Director and Design Principal with a specialty in delivering brand strategies and spatial experiences.
From Manhattan to Miami and several cities in between, Rozhia has designed dozens of restaurants, including the highly acclaimed and award-winning Sofreh in Brooklyn, for which she incorporated an historic and traditional Persian aesthetic into a chic contemporary design.
Rozhia draws inspiration from across the history of artistic disciplines which unite under the umbrella of spatial design. She generates ideas that aspire to transcend the separation of form and function, to exist outside of any artificial bounds of trend or jargon. She believes that the design of a space is holistic yet interpretive, and that the experience of the client is inextricable from the intent of the designer.
Rozhia’s work has been featured in The New York Times, The New Yorker, Eater and New York Magazine among other publications. She lives in NYC and works across the country and abroad.
