Viceroy New York chose local interior designers Roman and Williams to refashion this venerable mid-town address just off Central Park. The pair, former Hollywood set designers, did a spectacular job with a lobby made almost entirely of Paonazzo marble and guest rooms featuring rich exotic iroko wood, leather, and a mix of metals, such as brass and aluminum, reminiscent of a tailored ship’s cabin.
