Situated on a picturesque South Florida waterway, this two-story home greets the viewer with large arched scroll doors and welcomes them into its classic interior. The client wanted a timeless interior that brought elements of 1920’s glamour into each space. The design team at Jaime Blomquist Interiors worked to create a modern-day interpretation of that era, bringing a classic sense of style to the home.
Just off of the foyer, a timeless living room and bar, complete with a sleek grand piano, fills the space. The built-in flatscreen and custom bookcases give the living room a polished look, their gold frames and scored cabinet fronts a classic design. The adjacent wet bar follows suit with built-in glass shelving framed in gold, housing glasses and bottles, perfect for any scotch lover.
Conveniently located next to the living room, are the dining room and state of the art kitchen, the latter of which is balanced by the classic look of its large island. Rich wood and large corbels with fluted columns make the island a show stopper.
The home office, located just off the kitchen, continues the rich wood motif and classic charm. A bespoke bookshelf complete with accent lighting and ladder makes the room feel like a personal library. A custom desk completes the space. An ample master suite completes the first floor. The master bath with its pops of soft blue and freestanding tub in the center of the space create a spa-like atmosphere. With their circular molding, his and hers vanities bring an element of glamour to the space.
