Private Residence, Davie, FL
This newly constructed South Florida home had great bones and structure but needed an injection of personality. With Jaime’s direction, it was transformed into a rustic, transitional masterpiece.
Upon entering, a large two-story formal living room reveals itself. A warm fireplace, built-in bookcases, tile, and wallcovering ground the space and make it feel more welcoming. Adjacent to the living room, a home office with a rich coffered ceiling, large built-in flatscreen, and antique maps and photos give the space a “man cave” feel, perfect for any gentleman to relax in after a day’s work.
Adjacent to the office is the spacious master suite. Custom finished furniture and antique pieces make the space feel lived-in and relaxing. A large en-suite bathroom contains grasscloth wallcoverings and crystal sconces.
On the opposite side of the house, a custom wine room with stacked stone walls showcases the client’s impeccable taste in vino. Her bespoke office and adjacent bath sit alongside the classic dining room. Custom upholstered velvet chairs and a faux tin ceiling add elegance.
The adjacent kitchen, made-to-order, showcases a vast island and magnificent stone backsplash. A rustic barn door conceals the pantry and is perfect alongside the custom metal and wood breakfast table. The kitchen shares the remainder of the space with the large family room. A two-story stone wall in varying colors brings warmth to the space and is the perfect spot for the family to gather.
