Second exercise around the restaurant for Claude Cartier Studio. Groupe C Gastronomie has again appealed to us for its second establishment based this time in Saint Julien en Genevois. Like its elder, the Black Forest, this one called The Thousand Leaves, is located in a commercial area reflecting a more relaxed spirit, a chic brasserie universe.
The Mille Feuilles fits into its context like a greenhouse, a call to the plant but again diverted with shades of ocher and earth of hers for a more mineral connotation. The ceiling illustrates in the foreground this authentic approach with Chanpen de Forestier luminaires associated with ceramic tables and Tropicalia chairs by Moroso. The sophisticated aesthetic is again suggested by the terracotta velvet of Pierre Frey's double-sided curtains, but also by the wallpaper. Different spaces, different atmospheres and lighting effects come to give life to this place, that the studio has chosen to shift from its context, in a poetic way away from classical patterns.
