Clean lines and gentle gestures cloak a culture of light

A modest, modernist facade is complemented by poetic interior design touches, bringing Mies van der Rohe's balanced minimalism to mind. The interior unveils excellent materials within a spatial spectrum. Two sister spaces, showing the Mito product series, envelop Occhio's store template. Hospitality is reached by meandering past the gardens.

Meet the Creator
1zu33 is an architectural studio working exclusively in the field of spatial brand communication. We make values visible in bespoke environments.

With spatial design as our native competence, we develop and implement retail concepts, scenographic experiences and exhibition design. For our proposals we create storylines, often rooted in cultural context. We reflect brand values in our choice of objects and materials, creating a multi-sensory stage.

Our Munich based studio houses a team of 25 architectural and interior designers, guided by founders Hendrik Müller and Georg Thiersch. We like to think of our studio as a family, and enjoy investing in long-term partnerships with our clients. Among which we count Gaggenau, Aesop, Occhio and Hansgrohe.

Our projects have won us some of the most relevant awards in the field of brand communication and we’ve recently been ranked among the top 50 agencies in the German creative industry.
