Our sweetest design, now as a dining chair. This is one of our favorite chair designs and while we think it looks best with one of our honeycomb dining tables, we know it would be a beautiful addition to any dining space. These chairs are designed using our standard Studio Apotroes approach to create accessible and comfortable seating for all bodies. Our standard design centers around our thoughtfully considered 18x16in seat. This chair is available in a variety of wood species.

studio apotroes exists to fashion furniture and materials that are conscious, alluring, and accessible

studio apotroes is an experiment and exploration into what it means to be a furniture company dedicated to sustainability in the 21st century. We marry different design and production methods to craft heirloom quality furniture for customers. All pieces are made using biodegradable or recyclable materials like locally harvested wood, glass, metal, and natural fibers. We work with local producers to source materials for studio apotroes objects. You will never see plastics at studio apotroes, but you may see experimental materials using unconventional raw or recycled materials (think invasive or fallen wood, recycled glass, banana fabrics, or oyster concrete). We are a small design studio that wants customers to love and cherish each piece they bring into their home so production times are longer than convention.
