Meticulously stitched in gros and petit-point needlepoint stitches using wool and silk threads, free of man-made fibers.

Needlepoint canvas may be completed as a pillow in velvet or made suitable for framing.

Hand-embroidered eclectic, contemporary needlepoint. Our one of a kind designs are always fun & a little weird!

Mommani Threads founder and artist Cheryl Westbrook hand-embroiders original needlepoint canvases stream of consciousness. These hyper-colored designs are influenced by fantastical whimsy; music; nature; fur babies; sassy wit; pop art; and a dose of just plain weirdness.

Local artisans, truly a teeny-tiny-team, hand sew the items together. More than mere pillows, they are pieces of soft, textile art. Originating in the Blue Ridge Mountains of NC, they are filled with affection, personality, and a warmth that only hand-touched goods can impart.

Cheryl's work has been recognized by Oprah, featured in a Gucci pop-up at Art Basel, displayed in the Libertine studio at Bergdorf Goodman and countless designer and personal homes.

In addition to designs featured, she accepts commissions for personalized, heirloom works of art.
