Emily is a series of gorgeous lamps with shades handmade of sheet steel. She is spray painted in a semi-matte or in a high gloss finish.

The source of inspiration for Emily is a work by German artist Andreas Gursky. In his series »James Bond Islands« he shows a digitally arranged group of islands in Thailand that seem to float in the ocean, although they are in fact only the tips of mountains.

MOSS Objects is an independent lighting brand creating architectural luminaires defined by structural clarity and sculptural restraint. The brand explores light as a spatial element rather than a technical necessity, designing pieces that hold presence through proportion, balance and material precision.



At the core of MOSS Objects is a modular approach to construction. Each luminaire is built as a system, capable of evolving, extending or adapting, while maintaining design continuity. Materials such as aluminium, brass, steel and oak are selected for their integrity and longevity, expressed through exacting connections and refined surface treatments.


While minimal in expression, the work often carries quiet references to natural geometry, translated into engineered form rather than decoration. Every piece is produced through thoughtful partnerships with expert makers, ensuring technical integrity and long-lasting construction.



The result is a collection of lighting that feels both exact and human, pieces designed not to dominate space, but to define it quietly and intelligently.
