"Daphne" is an original weaving using natural wool, raffia, and embroidery floss. The weaving is woven entirely by hand and then hand embroidered. The weaving is sewn onto a wooden dowel with hanging hardware attached.
The Bespoke Collection was conceptualized when I challenged myself to manipulate unconventional materials into delicate and luxurious ;weavings. I took inspiration from fashion houses and loved transforming traditionally rigid materials into fluid pieces.
"Daphne" measures 12" W x 15" H.
