This is a simple bold paper collage in black and ivory set in a vintage ornate gold frame. The collage is made from painted paper with multiple layers of varnish and cold wax (no need for glass). Small specks of gold leaf are placed within the collage. The vintage frame is a classic, ornate gold leaf frame with a tarnished, rustic patina that makes it unique. Please note this frame has a lot of age related wear and tear and discoloration in the gold leaf that makes it special. The overall size of the piece is 14"x16" with the inner artwork at 8"x10". Ready to hang, signed on the back.
