hailey young (b. 1996) is an american painter based in madison, georgia. as a long-time lover of all things visually and verbally expressive, she lingers on both sides of the intersection where the two collide.

she does so with the intention of better engaging in her own inner evolution and her continuous process of self-exploration is reflected in the work she creates - losing herself, finding herself, and posing a series of questions whose answers seek further curiosity over finite conclusion.

the paint layers, the pastel markings, the sprinkles of graphite are all excerpts of her internal conversations in the search for a more comprehensive understanding of the human experience.
