Our exclusive Orbits ceiling lamp, the unique chandelier has been crafted by skillfully weaving and welding together several metal hoops recycled from discarded French oak wine barrels. The bands are made of galvanized steel that gives this extraordinary piece a very definite urban feel. Please note that the hoops are retreated with galvanized paint when necessary, in order to eliminate rust and achieve uniformity. Occasionally, welding's markings will be visible in specifics spots, adding to the 'industrial' style of the piece.
Orbits can be included as an exceptional and definitely unique light fixture to accent your home, patio, or winery décor; it can be smartly integrated into any style of interior designing from the rustic to the more modern and contemporary. Its substantial size can be taken an advantage of in grand entryways, halls, and high ceiling rooms. Smaller sizing available on request. We highly recommend professional installation of this hardwired light.
Orbits’ diameter is approximately 26/27” at the outer layer and it weighs about 45lb to 50lb. It comes with 3' chain/cord and flat dish canopy. Professional installation is recommended.
Please make sure that the electrical box to which it will be connected is tested to hold at least 50lb. Our suggestion for additional safety is to use a hook to hang the piece and swag some of the chain's length; the hook should be screwed and secured into solid wood (ceiling’s joist next to the electrical box) and then connected to one of the links towards the end of the Orbits’ chain. An extra chain may be provided upon request.
The lamp is easily customizable to a smaller size, to a minimum diameter of about 18"; please contact us for information on additional costs on the resizing.
The color is also customizable if needed; extra costs will apply. Please note that the lamp featured in every photo is a natural galvanized metal color, NOT black; see daylight pics for reference.
