Chandelier Fall is a five-story sculpture from the Hollywood & Highland Project in Hollywood, CA. Created by Michael Davis, this piece is suspended from the main entrance atrium to the first floor level in the escalator core. From the top, it contains three large-scale reproductions of vintage movie palace fixtures, an 8' h framed projection screen, a baby grand piano with candelabra, an assemblage of twenty-five vanity mirrors, and a disco ball. The sculpture is a monument to the gilded age of cinema, an opulent totem representative of Hollywood glamour. The program projected on the 8' h projection screen contains a four-hour long video with music.
