Emily Groups of Five in this cool hospitality project by the DesignAgency at The Generator Hostel in Stockholm.

Emily is a series of gorgeous lamps with shades that are handmade of sheet steel. She is spray-painted in a semi-matte or in a high gloss finish.
In the glossy version, the metal is painted in up to 10 layers - similar to a process used for high-end pianos - which creates an extraordinarily deep, high gloss black finish. This also means you can polish off scratches with standard car polish unless they didn't break the primer. Emily is covered with frosted plexiglass for beautiful, diffuse illumination of the light, no matter which bulb you use. The textile cable is available in many different colors.
Each group is equipped with a frame of oak timber.

We are an internationally renowned and regularly awarded product and spatial design studio. Additionally, we offer a unique selection of exclusive lighting pieces - entirely Handmade in Germany.

We are a Berlin-based design studio for unique, high-quality lighting handmade in Germany.
We design expressive yet minimal pieces with a focus on details.
We are proud of creating products with a strong character, crafted for beautiful interiors and spaces, meticulously handmade by skilled craftsmen.
Our design process is driven by the use of contemporary technologies combined with traditional crafts. Archetypes and typologies are often a starting point and the theme of modularity is also an important aspect of our work. We favor the use of metals - steel, brass, aluminum, copper - and are fond of their natural colors. Using metals also allows us to work with exquisite finishes, ranging from polishing, anodizing, powder coating or wet painting.
Exclusively using LED technology, we have a keen eye on light quality, especially when it comes to its distribution in the space, often playing with unique light directions and atmospheres.
