First popularized by Danish designer Hans Wegner in 1953 the Valet Chair is intended to provide an intuitive hanging solution for your clothes.
The Valet Chair requires a uniquely personal experience with the user through daily ritual at the beginning and end of each day. Designed to function with simplicity and purpose, but reveal distinct subtle details to be cherished with every use.
The chairs back is shaped to act as a hanger for a jacket. The seat hinges on custom brass hardware to rotate into an upright position for neatly folding trousers over. Underneath the seat a leather-lined compartment is revealed for storing keys, wallet, cellphone, etc.
