Mboma Chair

Item details

SIZE: (560 X 650) 880 H
Handmade with African mahogany wood and finished with an imbuia stain and 2 coats of oil. First manufactured in 2015. The design of the MBOMA was inspired by the lines of patterns in African handcrafted creations, ranging from ingese (basket), Kuba (blanket) and Dogon 'isichaba' (door). The name of this piece is called Mboma and Mboma means beats. The Mboma is the beast of Africa. It is a strong expression of cultural shape, form, and color, all translated into the future of African design. The Mboma is one of the first pieces ever created that represent the future of African Design in every way possible.
