Comprised of choreographer Rebecca Bruno and object-maker Mak Kern, Objects for Others embraces chance and meditation by pairing a dance sensibility with kinetic sound sculptures. Their dual interests as artists has lead them to create almost ethereal objects that explore sound, whole-body listening and tactile experience. Though the objects they make are intended for the home they also love to collage them together into installations that inspire play and wonderment. These installations, often activated by performance, have been presented in galleries, private homes, and public spaces. They founded Objects for Others in 2017 and and are based in Los Angeles.
