We designed a new chair for Uchi's first location outside of Texas. The E17 chair (named because it was designed the week of the 2017 solar eclipse) uses unique digital joinery to form a minimal, but comfortable, chair. The chairs are finished in a blackened rift cut white oak and upholstered in Maharam non-woven fabric. We also worked with Tres Birds Workshop to design and build the booths, benches, and other pieces in the space.
