After more than two decades in corporate marketing, I’d lost touch with the creative side of the business I’d been so drawn to in the beginning. So in 2013 I started to play with clay. By 2015 I’d made a plan to move away from my marketing career into the exploration of ceramic art... and in 2016 that plan became a reality.
Now I spend my days working from a small home studio in the Sunshine Coast hinterland, creating unique handmade ceramics from high fire stoneware and porcelain. These high quality clay bodies allow me to make beautiful pieces, that are durable enough to be used everyday.
The entire making process happens here on our little farm. I make each piece myself, use custom glazes and fire in a kiln powered by solar to reduce the need for fossil fuel in production.
My work is tactile and earthy, while maintaining a contemporary simplicity.
