Designer and Artist

Sera Holland is a designer and artist living and working at the base of Table Mountain in Cape Town. Sera is better known for her textiles and homeware products, which she previously produced under her label Handmade By Me. Her more recent work includes painting which has grown into a full-time profession.

If Sera is not busy painting impasto oil paintings, you will probably find her behind the pottery wheel, making and painting (or carving) ceramics.

While Sera is predominantly inspired by the beautiful natural landscape in which she lives, she also enjoys exploring themes of colour and texture, often with an element of playfulness.
