This is one of my paper collage paintings in black and antique white tones. I have a treasure trove of vintage French ledger papers that I've collected and love using them in collage. This piece is done on a hardboard panel with many layers of paint and varnish, no need for glass. The vintage frame is a petite gold wood frame that has a nice patina and is in very good shape. Age has added some lovely layers of burnished gold and brown to the vintage gold leaf coloration.
The overall size of the framed piece is 12x14 with the inner artwork at 8x10. Ready to hang, signed on the back. There is a mate to this piece if you need two for a bookshelf, see my listings.
