Made for a queen sized bed. Baltic birch and maple; This headboard design pulls from topographies from a mountain in South Africa where the couple got engaged. It was designed digitally, laser cut and then hand painted and assembled with custom posts made to fit most queen sized bed frames.

3D Wooden Art Inspired by Topography

Sage Woodworks started as a map making hobby. I was working as an architect in Manhattan and making topographic wooden maps in my spare time. Eventually, I began taking topographies of different places and morphing them into artistic works. These pieces are meant to undulate much like in nature. Craft and taste are of the utmost importance to me as a designer and artist.
