Peacock Mandala 99"x99" is made from post-consumer plastic bags and tape and is permanently installed in GOLINELLI MUSEUM HOUSE in Bologna, Italy. Hidden in the heart of the city, invisible from the street, is the new house-museum of the collector Marino Golinelli, entrepreneur founder of Thea Wassermann, a large pharmaceutical industry. Together with his wife Paola, he has invested in the visual arts for years, so much so that in 2001 he was awarded an honorary degree by the Faculty of Conservation of Cultural Heritage for his merits as a patron. Today their collection has about 350 works by international artists. The entrepreneur opens his collection to the public once a year during the international art fair ArteFiera and presents the creative work of these select artists.
