A super charming wall of 5,400 3x3" canvas squares created by Korean artist Ik-Joong Kang can be found at the San Francisco International Airport. This artist employs various mediums and image-making techniques including acrylic paint, wood carvings, tiles and cast acrylic cubes, he himself traveled long distances to install each small square, which easily fitted inside of his backpack. The ending result is a dazzling graphic display of Kang's life, each square an artifact from a moment in his life.
