This mural was created for the entrance porch of this mock Georgian family home. The calming colours of the Winklemans unglazed porcelain and the added Italian Vitrified glass details really catch the eye as you move through the space. The design encapsulates the families love for architectural details, the mosaic leaves are in relief taking inspiration from the outside of the Secession Building in Vienna. A passion for Art Deco design is represented in the geometric corn field. There are four trees in the design representing each family member, with the starting point being designed by one of the family.
The canopy of the trees extends across the ceiling, really adding to the feeling that you are underneath it. The colours are tranquil and calming - certainly creating a lasting impression on any guests that visit.
