Q&A

How does the design of your space (or an element of the design) impact the experiences people have there?

"The design of our space is the cornerstone of the guest experience. Its the first thing and the last thing they see when they visit. We wanted to make something that would pull at one's imagination and spark intrigue during their entire stay."
Q&A

What is the interior design style of your space?

"Eclectic. As with the Aesthetic movement of the late nineteenth century, we've drawn inspiration in from many design eras and philosophies. The goal was was to harness beauty in all its forms to create a maximalist sanctuary from the streets of NYC. You'll see touches of Art Deco, Victorian, and even Islamic themes all playing together in layers."
Q&A

What Custom/Original Element do your guests notice most often? What do they say about it?

"It's always different. I think we've done a good job of providing depth in our design so that people are continuously noticing small details. Standouts include the patterned Terrazzo floor, the hand painted azulejo tile mural, and the custom wallpapers."
Q&A

What was the biggest source of inspiration?

"The Aesthetic Movement in general, and the idea that stopping for a quick coffee should be a celebration."
