The Albright-Knox is situated at the edge of Buffalo’s Delaware Park, designed by America’s foremost landscape architect, Frederick Law Olmsted. Its main buildings—one neoclassical and one modern—were designed by celebrated American architects Edward B. Green, of Green & Wicks, and Gordon Bunshaft, of Skidmore, Owings and Merrill. A third building, Clifton Hall, houses the AK Innovation Lab and offices. The museum’s main entrance is located on Elmwood Avenue, directly across from the Burchfield Penney Art Center at Buffalo State, and its east side overlooks Hoyt Lake. Their campus features more than 18 outdoor sculpture that invites you to explore at any time.

The Albright-Knox is one of the oldest museums dedicated to the art of our time and the sixth oldest public art institution in the United States.
