The Thakoon brand is a reflection of founder and designer, Thakoon Panichgul's background. Born in Thailand, raised in Omaha and now New York-based, Panichgul’s creations are a skillful blend of distinct influences. The 2,500-square-foot double-height boutique designed by Giancarlo Valle of SHoP Architects, with poured concrete walls by Fernando Mastrangelo, furniture by Vonnegut/Kraft, and light fixtures by Michael Anastassiades. The lofty double-height interior create an environment that feels almost you’re shopping in the comfort of your own home.
