Born in 1990 in Bogotá, Colombia, Zurik is a graffiti writer who started drawing and painting at the age of 9. In 2009, after completing her studies in graphic design at National University of Colombia, she started painting graffiti in the streets, teaching herself new techniques and exploring color combinations. This lead to a strong interest in abstraction, color fades, shadows, and line work.
Currently, Zurik is a full time artist, traveling and painting internationally at various street art festivals, where she continues to explore her passion for pushing letters and shapes alongside characters and objects.
