Winterwares was born from a desire to embrace a slower pace of life after I experienced complete burnout at my 9 to 5 desk job.
Busy being busy, I reached my lowest point, feeling stressed, overwhelmed and disconnected. This spurred a huge life change.
I quit my job, spent time with my children and started to slow down.
I began to do less but do it better. I enrolled in my first pottery class hoping I’d feel grounded and fulfilled while making something beautiful with my hands.
It has done this and more. Working with clay has taught me to savour the everyday moments that bring joy.
It also ignited a passion to create beautiful pieces that help others gather, share and nourish.
This heartfelt intention goes into every piece I make, hoping to spark joy in your life.
