I was born in Havana, Cuba in 1985, the city where I discovered and developed my passion for art.
During my high school years, I joined an art group led by a professor from the Cuban Academy of Fine Arts, San Alejandro. In this group, I was involved in the creation of several street murals and collective exhibitions in several local galleries.
I depict my characters with a halo above their heads to suggest the paradox of both the light and the dark within us. I focus my work on the use of colors and textures to capture emotions and events from the past.
