He began his career in the 1980s, integrating a generation of artists aware of assuming the production of urban art as a poetic strategy of recognition, not only of the city itself but as a language, powerful and comparable to the already traditional art history. His production, which assumes all importance for the contemporary Brazilian scene, is shown with other talents of the time, as a precursor.
The artist, like many of his generation, started with graffiti, using the city itself as a support. Later, he started to use painting, the basis of his academic training, with more emphasis, followed by photographs and installations whose central elements are the characters who have been with him since early. His work is contextualized by the place of man in the urban space, crossed by the constant acid and critical climate of characters that hide, behind the pleasant aesthetic, the constant loneliness.
