"Unique vintage textiles sourced from all over the world"
ABOUT Mandana’s love of design began as a young girl back in the 70’s at her father’s brick and mortar Persian rug shop on Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood. After receiving a BFA at Tisch School of the Arts at NYU, she moved back to Los Angeles to further her career in Film production.
Mandana got her start in working in the Art and Wardrobe department on a number of independent films, music videos and commercials.
She lived abroad for over a year in Brazil in 2000, where she began importing Havaianas flip flops, before the rave hit the rest of the world.
In 2015, she formed her own business; sourcing and creating a line of of hand-crafted throw and floor cushions. Her personal style is a blend of ethnic and contemporary aesthetics. With a passion for color, pattern and architecture, she draws her inspiration from her Iranian background and her love for traveling abroad. Her approach to design is carefully curated in her signature bohemian and cutting edge style.
She currently lives in Santa Monica, California with her son.
