Mandy is the South African born visual stylist, creator and self-taught macrame maker behind roundnine9, based in Sydney, Australia. Each one of her pieces is individually handmade using 100% unbleached Australian cotton, natural jute including various other natural fibres; imported water-spun linen and natural raffia.
Combined with her love for interiors, all things handmade; and inspired by raw textures and earthy tones, Mandy conceptualised and designed the first Original Raffia Macrame Collection©, as well as the first Original Papua New Guinea Bush Rope Macrame Collection©.
Passionate about what she does, she has worked with interior stylists and designers both locally and internationally on bespoke pieces for residential and commercial projects. Her creations hang in beautiful homes, hotels and resorts around the world. Her work has featured in Vogue Living Australia, ELLE Magazine, est Living, BELLE, Stellar, Domino; and interiors coffee table book "Bohemian Style at Home" by award winning UK interiors blogger and author, Kate Young. Her work can also be seen in "Still The Slow Home", a visually stunning interiors book by Sydney interior stylist, Natalie Walton.
Intricately hand-knotted, with many hours invested, all designs are created and photographed by Mandy - owned by roundnine9. Each creation is authentic, unique in style and original - a roundnine9 piece made exclusively for you.
