"The solid strength of metal is in vivid contrast to the delicate transparency of glass."
I received a BFA from the University of Texas at Austin in 1978. A move to San Francisco in 1979 expanded my artistic awareness by having access to the city’s museums and vibrant gallery scene. In 1987, I received an MFA degree in Sculpture from San Jose State University. I lived and worked as an artist in the Bay Area for 35 years. For 16 of those years, I split my time between San Francisco and Texas. Since 2014, my wife and I are happy to live and work in our studio in the beautiful Hill Country. My artwork has been shown and collected in the U.S.A., Europe, and Japan.
