Perry El Ashmawi was born in Bahrain in 1988 to Egyptian parents, and in 2009 she attained a BA in Fine Arts from Concordia University, Montreal, Canada, majoring in Painting & Drawing.
Perry has showcased her work in Montreal, Athens, Bahrain and Dubai. She participated in both group exhibitions and artist-led workshops. She was also fortunate in being selected to showcase at The Bahrain Annual Fine Arts Exhibition for two consecutive years, held at the Bahrain National Museum. In Dubai, Perry was a selected artist for the 7th edition of SIKKA Art Fair, and also showcased for the 10th edition of The Sheikha Manal Young Artist Award Exhibition.
