Born on 6th October in Solapur, Nilesh started painting at an early age of 8. He pursued his Diploma in Fine Arts from Abhinav Kala Mahavidyalaya, Pune. His early work includes realistic and figurative compositions where he made a mark in producing watercolor textures and patterns. Nilesh is deeply inspired by renowned Indian artist Vasudeo Kamat. He has handled socially driven subjects like global warming, terrorism, etc. through his art. He also spent a few years teaching and equally learning at Sai College of Art, Pune.
Since 2012, Nilesh found his inclination towards Street Art as a form of expression. It’s bold and intuitive. It’s a great medium to communicate in a global language.
Nilesh worked under the guidance of contemporary artist Harshwardhan Kadam. His work includes both commercial and non-commercial art pieces at Wipro, Richardson & Cruddas in Mumbai, Wildberry in Mahabaleshwar, several events and a zoo renovation project in Pune.e sizes of these murals range from 30 sq.ft. to 5000 sq.ft. ey handle subjects like music, humanity, forms of energy, saving local heritage, etc.
Nilesh aspires to make his art reach out through the form of street art. Today, he works as a full-time visual artist out of his studio in Pune.
