"My organic flowing contemporary stained art glass takes the onlooker on a unique journey. These works help represent the intersection of art, nature and science. The fluidity in these works also help represent our journey through life. Dipping into the past and what may have come before while moving through the present and towards the future as we each navigate our paths."I have been creating significant, art glass and stained glass installations for over 2 decades. My flowing style brings an organic fluidity to the rigid medium of glass. For decades, I have concentrated on translating the intersection of art, science and nature. I live and work in the Rockies above Boulder and I am surrounded with incredible flora and fauna. These grand animals, who often sleep in our yard, not only give me artistic inspiration but they transcend a feeling of peace and hope. My installations include whole entryways, doors, windows, walls of glass, as well as hanging live edge creations, mosaic furniture, decorative floor lighting and glass and metal sculpture. All works are one-of-a-kind and hand cut and created in my studio by my hands. I have extensive experience in collaborating with architects, structural engineers, public art administrators, interior designers, as well as residential and commercial business owners. I have also been on many art teams and committees and I worked on many LEED projects as well. I am continuing to find ways to create my Art with minimal environmental impact. Although, I must purchase many supplies, I use reclaimed and recycled materials as often as possible. I am always looking for old church glass and sea glass to up cycle and incorporate into my creations.
