"Impressionist style southern artist, painting and loving's life in the "The Classic City"
Nancy grew up in Atlanta and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts form the University of Georgia. Since graduating, she has spent years continuing her studies with nationally known artists, including Henry Barnes, Marc Chatov, Guido Frick, Maggie Seiner and Jim Richards. Nancy was the first artist from Georgia selected to be an Artist in Residence in Breckenridge, Colorado's Tin Shop Artist Program. Twelve artists were selected from all over the country out of a total of 42 applicants.
In an article about her work titled "Celebrating the South with Soulful Color", Laurel Magazine wrote "There's nothing tame about Nancy Everett's bold designs." Nancy's painting inspirations start with color and she uses it in a contemporary impressionistic style. Now residing in Athens, she enjoys working out of her studio at Chase Park warehouse. Gallery representation is listed on her website. She also sells work from her studio and is available for commissions.
