"Specialized, custom mural and design services for residential homes, corporate offices, and public spaces"
South Florida-based mural artist and designer, Georgeta Fondos, is accomplished in several disciplines including murals, illustration, photography, and textile art. She received art education in Europe and the United States. At the age of eleven, Georgeta was sent to a specialized 'boarding' art school (Republic of Moldova), a product of a highly centralized government-run Soviet system. This is where disciplined academic training has sharpened her drawing and painting skills in many mediums and techniques.
Georgeta received her Bachelors in Textile Arts from the Academy of Fine Arts of Moldova, followed by a Post-Graduate Study Scholarship to Greece. She immigrated to the United States in 2003 and in 2008 graduated from the Florida Atlantic University with a Master of Fine Arts (MFA).
Georgeta’s work can be seen in public art commissions, museums, and private collections. She also has showcased work on art venues around South Florida - Boca Raton Museum of Art, Brevard Museum, Coral Springs Museum of Art, FAT Village, and many others.
