Hello, I’m Michael Owen, a contemporary American painter. Since 2003, I’ve created hundreds of large-scale works, exploring social, emotional and spiritual issues. I’ve had the opportunity to work with many well-known companies, but the community, education and collaboration have always been the most important parts of my practice.

In 2008, I started the Baltimore Love Project, by evenly spreading 20 love-themed murals throughout my city. It’s amazing to see the art, discussions and message of LOVE continue to spread all around the world. Currently, I live and work out of my newest project, HOME Artist Residency.
