I have a strong desire to assist people to experience life more fully. Through realism, careful attention to detail, rich colors and unusual points of view, my art can prompt a viewer to marvel at existence, to be more keenly aware of their surroundings and be more intrigued with their environment and their life.
How do your pieces come to life? Tell us one interesting thing about your creative process?
"A lot of ideas come to me or get resolved in my dreams."
What do you want people to do or feel when they encounter your creations?
"I want people to feel excitement. My art is created to entertain, to be compelling, to tell a story, to be something people want to look at and think about."
What funny moments, unexpected surprises, or obstacles have you encountered?
"The weirdest moments have been working on a scaffolding and having to contort or stretch myself into odd (risky) poses. I had to make like a monkey and get on the outside of the scaffolding railing once to reach up into a corner of a two story great room. My partner painter and I regularly had to stick our butts in each others space to do our faux finishing projects. LOL!"
