While her art is joyful the beginnings of her art career were inspired by her only Son's stage 4 Brain Cancer journey which started in 2011. Lisa turned to her art during this terrible time to combat the grief and pain she felt and this literally changed the direction of her life. Today she happily reports her son is alive and well which is nothing short of a miracle even the doctors cannot explain.

Over the years, Lisa has participated in many group and solo art exhibitions. Her very first Solo Exhibition at The Pine Street Gallery, Chippendale, Sydney was featured in The Sydney Morning Herald's Spectrum Section in 2013. That same year she was included in the ‘Undiscovered’ feature of Art Collector Magazine & Art Edit. In 2018 Lisa was selected as a Featured Acrylic Artist on Empty Easel.com. In 2019 her work was selected for an International Showcase via Artsy Shark and in 2020 again she was selected for a permanent Featured Artist Article (by Artsy Shark).

A full-time Artist for over a decade, Lisa works from her Blue Mountains Art Studio, west of Sydney, Australia. Her aim is to take the viewer beyond the everyday to a happier place and evoke uplifted feelings. Her paintings are diverse and she prefers to create a series of related pieces then move on to a new series.
