“Our guiding principle is very simple – to make beautiful objects.
All of our fixtures are designed and assembled at our Studio located in the Distillery District of Toronto.
Established in 2014, we collaborate with designers on residential and commercial projects across North America.
We use rhythm and geometry to create complex pieces like our Branch Chandelier. We like to create the unexpected and much of our work has a strong gestural element.
Our love of the optimistic design period of the Midcentury lets us engage in some nostalgia with our mid-century chandeliers.
The studio operates as a design collective with Denise Murphy as Studio Lead along with husband Michael, as Design Lead.
In addition to our design and assembly team, we have great resources throughout the Toronto area including a highly skilled brass finisher who does the majority of our finishing.
Most of our materials are made locally but we also import from the U.S., France and Italy. We work primarily in Brass, though also use nickel, copper and polished steel. All of our glass is hand-blown.”
