Leslie Ferst

Leslie Ferst is an internationally collected and exhibited artist who resides in New York. She received her MFA from Boston University and her BA in Art History from Skidmore College where she was Assistant Professor of Ceramics in the Art Department from 1993-2012. A native of Atlanta, Leslie has participated in artist residencies at the Archie Bray Foundation, the Ossabaw Island Foundation, and the Watershed Center of which she was a founding board member.

Among Leslie’s over 100 national exhibitions are “Earth: Artists Exploring Sustainablity and the Environment " (Arts Westchester and the Clay Art Center/NY), “Natural Wonders” (LaCoste Gallery/MA), a solo show “Full Circle” (Signature Shop and Gallery/Atlanta), “Craft Transformed” (Fuller Museum/MA), and “Ancient Practice: New Vision” (Munson Williams Proctor Institute/NY).

In additon to numerous private collections her work is collected by the Frederick Weisman Museum of Art, the Mori Museum (Hakodate Japan), the Archie Bray Foundation, Georgia Institute of Technology, Georgia Council for the Arts, Siena College, and Skidmore College.
